2010 Annual Reunion Lunch

This year’s annual reunion lunch was again held at Tao Cuisine in EGate, Penang on the 15/2/10. The same regular faces came except a few who could not make it.

However, this year we have Adam Tang (Khye Choon) joining us with his spouse all the way from Singapore. Some have suggested that we should do next year’s lunch at the Suffolk House Restaurant.

Having our reunion lunch there would be ideal as we could actually see our former classrooms from the restaurant. Wouldn’t that be more meaningful?

2008 Reunion Lunch

Our 2008 Reunion Lunch was held today (8 Feb 2008) at Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Penang.

Besides us, we’ve actually met another group of ex-MBS students who were 2 years our senior having their reunion too. This year we managed to get a few more new faces to join us – Cheah Soon Tatt, Vilan, Lim Gim Seng, Thong Kok Kee and Muniandy (Andy).

Reunion Lunch on the 2nd Day of Chinese New Year (2008)

We will be meeting for a reunion buffet lunch on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year (8 Feb 08) at Evergreen Hotel, Penang @ 12.00 noon. If interested, pls contact Alvin Cheong at 012-476 9990 or you can leave a comment here with your email address.

This is going to be our 3rd reunion lunch. We had the first one on 2005, then 2006 but missed out 2007. Now we’re meeting again on 2008. Hopefully, we could keep this going as we find more of our childhood friends whom most of us have known since 1971 (primary one) during our school days in Pykett Methodist Boys’ School, Penang.

Mun Kit’s Wedding (6 October 2007)

Koh Mun Kit and Janet Wong tied the knot on the 6 October 2007 and held a wedding dinner reception at Hotel Maya, KL. Fourteen of our old buddies attended the dinner – Alex Keong, Say Soon, Barney Ooi, Alvin Cheong, Edwin Khoo, Sian Eong, Eric Cheah, Albert Tai, Michael Tham, Mun Thye, Patrick Ooi, Nicky Ng, Wah Chong, and Hong Leong. It was also a reunion for some of us who have not seen each other since we left school in 1984.
